Sneak Preview – eBook Marketing eCourse

A couple of months ago I decided I wanted to write an eCourse for authors on marketing their eBooks. I only launched this website in October, and I needed to come up with an idea to bring in the traffic and to start building myself an email list, which I haven’t yet implemented on this website.

I started off really well, I have created half of the emails which the authors who sign-up will get on a weekly basis, but then Christmas happened and things have been pretty hectic until now.  Tomorrow I plan on stepping it back up and getting the eCourse finished by the end of the month, and launching it first to my own authors I have formatted books for, and then out to everyone else.

So here is a sneak preview of what I will be including in my eCourse:

  • Looking at how best to use websites and blogs to market your eBook
  • How email marketing is a great way to promote your eBook to people who actually want to hear about it
  • Social media marketing – lots of tips to help you on your way

As well as the weekly emails with all this information and more (I don’t want to give away all my secrets here), I have asked all my author clients to provide me with their top marketing tips so I will be scattering these through the course as well.

This eCourse isn’t just for authors though, anyone who has something they need to promote could take some tips from here.

I haven’t yet finished the content for the eCourse, so if you have any suggestions that you think will add real value to the eCourse then please let me know by commenting on this post.

I won’t be setting a launch date just yet, but it won’t be too much longer!

The eCourse is now launched and you can sign-up here – eBook Marketing Mini-eCourse

Comments

  1. Sounds like a great course. Wishing you success with it.

  2. Sounds great! Your email portion might already address this, but a wall I’ve hit is in how to communicate (especially with people you know in real life) and to utilize those supporters you know and love without driving them crazy.

    • Thanks Kirsten, I am editing the course at the moment, so will include a bit in there about that… thanks for the suggestion! 🙂
